Good stuff Foxproawks but doing an odd game south of the border or on the continent is different to doing games for juniors, rec games and EBL games all the time where players play above the rim and can run. Anyway what do you think about how they call defending the post across the league ?
This will be important in the final as Tabb pulls all sorts of tricks to establish position, also the high pick n roll that Vince likes to run would be undone completely depending on how the refs call it
Glasgows ball movement could also be shut down if the refs can`t figure out that Gareth Murray is being held or armlocked
Lets both watch the game and do a summary highlighting what we see, it might be fun

Fp don't bite to sheer crap posting on this forum you know that. I actually think bar 1 scottish ref there pretty good. The crap at london games and sheffield is comical sometimes. Suspect theyll be a london and scottish bssed ref and a neutral territory one. I just hope its not mcdonald...

I remember a game we had against Eagles. An Eagles player missed a layup, but he was fouled while shooting. Should have been two shots. After the whistle, Darius Defoe caught the ball and put it in. The referees awarded two points, and a free throw for Darius. WTF. We have to accept mistakes happen. However, sometimes our judgement is clouded, and what we think we see from our seat is different from what the referees will see on the floor. Nobody is perfect, especially in a fast-paced game. |

I notice that you have no comment on basketball (That's the game played by the players) and the need and importance of how contact in the post will be called in this game
My main point is that refs should not be a gamble and they are and Scottish basketball is different to London bball due to athleticism

Hmm, Lions haven't played in 9 days. Rocks, on the other hand, are coming off a big win 2 days ago. Could that be a factor? Rocks certainly going into the game with a massive confidence boost, something Lions probably would have preferred not to be the case. |
