A big bag of tits and we never even had a 4th quarter meltdown. We just got slightly outplayed the whole game. THis isn’t the Rocks I know.

I’m sure our starting 5 are feeling done after that donkey of a coach made them play against the Riders. Let’s not make the playoffs or win the Cup final.

Lions are the better team, no doubt
They were allowed to be physical though, result is a low scoring poor spectacle
Call a couple of fouls on those high screens at least as they are obvious
Check out what Bristol does at the start of the third for his offensive put back dunk.. it starts with him moving his defender about 4 feet away from the goal with his backside giving him a free run at the rim, ooooppppsss missed that one too

Congratulations Lions and I was right they were allowed to hip check at the top, hold Murray and be physical in the low post
Result, Lions win in a scrappy game with the lowest winning teams score ever

Well done London...they will sweep most of the honours this year. Some decent players in Tabb, Peel, Robinson and Bristol.
Sadly it was a really poor standard with awful shooting and quite one sided. The women's game was better Imho. Was hoping it would be a good game but in terms of competiveness and standard of play it was rotten really.

Couldn’t match the lions physically and looked to me to have bottled it in the first quarter.
Shooting was woeful.
Officiating poor (the deflection that went out of bounds?)
Neutral venue? Was like an away game.
End of the day if you put up 20 first half points you don’t deserve to win.
Did playing Friday have a negative effect? Who knows but it certainly doesn’t appear to have helped.

I don't think the win on Friday had much of a detrimental effect, if any, on Rocks. They were outplayed by Lions who were allowed to be very physical. It went pretty much as expected by those who voted on the poll so no real surprises today. Rocks' shooting was very poor and their bigs never matched Lions' bigs. Congratulations to Lions who would probably have beaten any other team today too. When Robinson was on the bench Rocks got back into the game a little - just shows his importance to Lions. He's the general marshalling the team.

I’ve been complaining about Donkey Daryl since he got given the job after Tony G. It’s scares me that he will probably keep up tradition by keeping the job for reaching a final. Daryl is not the coach we need nor want. Sterling at least got us 3 or 4th in the league with a barrel of cup competitor failure. Daryl gives us cup failure and no play offs. |

That was incredibly mild by comparison to Bristols hip checking, butt moving spread out picks set in exactly the same spot !!!

BBL finals tend to be such a disappointment, could be down to such low general attendances that playing in huge arenas with massive crowds is slightly intimidating? Today was so poor and it’s such a shame when basketball is finally on tv, and a non NBA game gets such amazing attendance just for the product to be awful!!!

Even if more fouls had been called against Lions the result would have been the same. They are deeper and better. Rocks should have adapted their game to the refereeing.

Lions deserved to win the better team from tip. Bitterly borring and flat game. Do teams get a chance to use the nia the night before? Some horrible shots. Lions through peel and bristol totally took ali out the game and he cowarded onto the 3 point line.
Rocks again just look under prepared against lions. We use to have their number under sterl now they brush us aside with a deserved confidence

Gutted Rocks didn’t win, wanted it for Achara and their club, all these finals they keep losing they need to win one soon.
But the Lions are tough and were really strong today so congrats to them. Gonna be tough for anyone to beat for the remainder of the season.
That deflection off a Lions player late in the game that was clear for all to see and awarding the ball to them when should have been a Rocks ball was one of the worst calls I have seen.
It was played on the big screen seconds after so they should have took a second before making the decision final. If that’s not what they do in games then it should be. Had no baring on the game but imagine if it had, if it was a 2 point game or tied. That shouldn’t be allowed to happen and in another game that could have been costly.

I really don't care how poor you lot of Neanderthals thought the game was or how 1 appalling decision sremingly changed a one sided game!! We ****ing won & in the end after 11 ****ing years with nothing this is simply incredible.
