If Tuck gets an unsportsmanlike for that , then down the stretch a lot of players will be ejected It was a foul, he intended it , but no different from most fouls throughout the game Poor decision by the mugs If Tuck can’t challenge that, and is banned from today’s game That is a hugely bad call for a ref No ban for that type of ejection. |

Should be an interesting 2nd half  edit Moses brilliant as ever, Fletch looks set for a double-double ... we shall see !! I’m not a practising qualified ref but do take time to read and try to understand the rules and the guidelines on interpretation. The sweeping motion of Tuck could easily be interpreted as a ‘stop at all costs’ action which ‘isn’t a normal basketball play’ and hence would meet the criteria for an unsportsmanlike. I doubt it would have been called as such under NBA rules but under FIBA it doesn’t look an obviously incorrect call. Shame there aren’t any qualified refs who regularly post to balance things up on here and provide the counter arguments. |

Not looking great for Eagles. Hope they can come back last 5 minutes. Would prefer to play Eagles than Royals in the semi finals I think.

Not looking great for Eagles. Hope they can come back last 5 minutes. Would prefer to play Eagles than Royals in the semi finals I think. Could still be Raiders!! |

So Riders and Eagles meet in the semifinals and resume their rivalry..oh, no wait... Lions v Sharks Riders v Royals UNLESS Donte and Raiders can throw a spanner in the works?? Eagles have ruined it for us and themselves! Lions v Royals semi final would have had them both throwing the kitchen sink at each other again. And either Eagles or Riders would have had a good chance in the final after that match up. Anyway so far the so called most competitive play offs ever. I've called every match up (however, I didn't attempt rocks v royals) |

Eagles deserved everything they got tonight. Arrogance from the outset from the team and their fans on social media and in person.I would not have one player back next personally if I was fab. A couple of supposed D2 players and 3 imports for the sharks prevailed with ease in the end. Well done to the shsrks

Tell you what, yes we sharks fans think we need a complete grounds up rebuild, but watching that eagles team, they need it as much as we do!
I do worry though. I've not seen the venue in person, but on TV that does look a very impressive setup. The last thing this league needs is a return to the dark old days and Newcastle splashing the cash to try and buy the league. Come on Lions and Riders, let's keep these Eagles back in the mediocrity they bathed in in the 90s!
