I'm excited about this signing. We've needed a new big guy for a long time. We really struggled when Darius was injured last year.

What I like about this is the guy seems like he's no nonsense.
Doesn't beat around the bush - he's never heard about the BBL and he doesn't give a rats - but he's up for new things.
He's also from the Bronx, which usually equates to a tough b*stard.
Him v Walker should be a good watch.

It's going to be GB signings and Euro signings that define this squad This guy should be decent based in his latest stats But it's the other players around him now that will matter Do Eagles have some surprises up their sleeves? So if blacknwhite is correct with what he has heard we have another Euro import, hopefully Kyle Williams to come back then you have the obvious ones in Darius and Lasker. My only hope is that the final 2-3 spots are filled with players who can actually contribute. No disrespect intended to Matthew or Yabantu but it was pretty much pointless them being there last season. I guess we are also waiting on news as to whether Fab will play. I'm not against him carrying on provided he isn't really counted as one of the rotation. If we can get 12 in with Fab and he uses himself wisely in dead rubber games when we want to give top guys a rest I'm all up for that. What we don't want is him playing 25 minutes away to Lions & Riders. |

Gotta say his attitude is refreshing and his highlight (and anyone can look great in carefully selected highlights at that level) look encouraging in so much as he looks athletic but blue collar.
If that is a fair reflection of his ability then he should be at least a good signing......

The same goes for his style of play - very direct and aggressive. I think he looks a great addition. Shame Eagles have managed to sign him!

Am hoping for a forward as well, we have made a great start with Mitchell and Morsell who is a guard/forward but hoping for another one to give us a strong frontcourt, adding in Darius as well.
Then if we do sign Kyle then he will strengthen the backcourt and will give us another shooter and scorer.
Canāt wait to find out tomorrow.

In the words of Barry Davies, āInteresting. VERY interesting.ā Very similar Pro B stats to Andy Thomson when he was there, and this guy is 10 years younger and more athletic. Eagles front line looks formidable, big and athletic this year.
Add another quality guard and the usual suspects, including Defoe and Lasker, and this looks a much better balanced squad than last year.
INF will no doubt give this one 4/10.

I'm concerned that our front line is a bit light and that we are rather guard heavy atm which could spell problems against teams like Lions or maybe even Eagles...
