I'm new to this but I'm hoping for a F pref a SF taking that Euro spot Just new to the board or new to the club? I'm inclined to agree - I feel we have been a bit guard heavy at times in recent seasons. New to basketball, Tyneside, the club and the board  |

Seems another promising signing. The only thing stopping this team being a championship team is the quality of the Brits now and if it just the same as the last few seasons then they will just fall short.

We simply can't let it be the same. Kyle Williams would be the best announcement to follow this one I feel. We assume that Darius and Drew are also back too. But then we need to see some real improvements with the last couple of spots. |

I have a feeling in my bones that Kyle won't be back - but hope I'm wrong. Just hoping he isn't going anywhere else like London, Leicester or Glasgow?

But having looked at the vids this guy looks like an interesting and athletic option and a genuine 4 who could also credibly occupy the paint and play with back to basket (eg if Darius or Mitchell pick up a knock). This is something Eagles haven't had for years - arguably not since Lynard Stewart, Tap Toney and Darius. I can't see this team getting out-rebounded in the same way as last year, which must be good, and we all know that Fletch will find them if they find space.
I'm getting just a tiny bit optimistic....

In the words of Barry Davies, āInteresting. VERY interesting.ā Very similar Pro B stats to Andy Thomson when he was there, and this guy is 10 years younger and more athletic. Eagles front line looks formidable, big and athletic this year. Add another quality guard and the usual suspects, including Defoe and Lasker, and this looks a much better balanced squad than last year. INF will no doubt give this one 4/10. It's certainly not lazy recruitment |
