Rocks look very well coached. Pryor is talented and Pepper will be influential. They played to Fraser’s strengths and giants couldn’t defend him. Gareth was Gareth just did the job. Best I’ve ever seen Bunyan play, nothing spectacular but ran the plays and looked after the ball. Credit Danny giants looked a lot better in the second half but we look woefully thin and outsized. Callum was very good but if there arn’t roster changes it’s going to be a tough year.

Fans are allowed to criticise the team and organisation Dyb Dyb. To say otherwise is nonsense. Admittedly I haven’t seen Sharks in a few years but I still follow and watch everything I can on the tele/YouTube. I don’t know who SharkBall is but I’m pretty sure they have been following Sharks for at least 10 years. Probably longer. I’m a fan and I’m ashamed of what the Sharks are now. And Atiba is an appalling coach and....I’m still a fan. Atiba isn’t the Sharks. He can, and should, be fired. Agreed. Nothing wrong with a criticism. What I find wrong, 'in my opinion' to coin a phrase banted around that allows people to say what they think despite alternatives by others; is criticism after criticism after criticism, more often than not for the slightest error or mistake. Any opportunity to stick the boot in. However when the team is doing well or put a good run together everything goes quiet. Offer criticism yes, but wheres' the praise? To say someones been a fan of an x number of years I find illrelevant, I ve been one for 20 years, what's the difference? I've seen good times at the arena, a championship winning team, I'm unhappy with our current plight, at been overtaken by riders, lions... but I support my team and will offer both criticism and praise. If that is seen as happy clapping then be it so. Much rather be like that than sat at my keyboard just waiting an opportunity to crititise.

Lions havnt adequately replaced Tabb, Bristol or Spencer imo. Although a different player, I think Dijon is a more than adequate replacement for Tabb. Absolutely spot on a out the other two!

First games over and IMO the team's are weaker overall than last season so far Agree with this 100%. That said I think in 3/4 weeks time teams will look a lot different than what we’ve seen this weekend.

Anyone watching on YouTube last night? I caught the Eagles game (Mitchell and Morsell are looking like blue collar workhorses which I like the look of, but keys will be how effective Glasgow and the French guy can be) and thought the presentation was really good and I was really upbeat about everything, but then I heard of the problems at Manchester and I caught a few on YouTube catch-up this morning the Worcester stream kept dipping out, the Bristol camera angle gave me vertigo and the Riders camera was all too often fixated on the centre of the court, it’s very much a work in progress I guess.... That said I’m just made up I can watch games free live and on demand - definite step in the right direction but needs work. Certainly nice to go home (after a win) and rewatch the game. Onscreen graphics are a bonus too, better than the IBM Mainframe look of LBTV. Just watched the final minute of the Raiders/Royals game too. Used to watch on Bet365 last season on zoomed out IPad, but it often used to crash.

Yeah the graphics are a nice touch, throwing stats up as well as starting lineups etc. It will take a few weeks to figure out in terms of camera angles and working out technical hitches like cutting out and the contrast (hard to see the difference between green and blue at the Plymouth game earlier as I think someone else said too) but long term it’s really going to be good I think.

Daily Record talking about a points deduction for the Rocks, did the 2 who didn't play last night play on Friday.
I wouldn't know as the YouTube stream wasn't working

According to the LiveStats, Pepper played 29:07 and Djo Ebala played 9:53 on Friday - neither listed for Sunday. Are those the two?

Yeah Pepper was mentioned on yesterday as not playing and the other guy was mentioned.
It's a bit of a weird one, surely the Rocks would have been on top of something like this and would have been aware they couldn't play.

Eagles are for sure looking stronger after the 2 games so far, that's without 2 key players as well (Glasgow Jr and Hussein) Hussein is for sure back on Friday, Glasgow Jr I am less sure about.

I'm told the two lads who you mention are both definite starters. Glasgow's got a few passport issues to sort out but everything's been done his end - hes unfortunately in the lap of the Gods now.
I'm further told that Schlitzer is expected to have an Andrew Bridge type effect on the team - and anyone who remembers back that far knows exactly what he brought to the table.
You're in good hands.

I remember Andrew Bridge when he played for Mansfield Giants and Nottingham Nova under 14s, who went on to win the National U14 championship.

I remember Andrew Bridge when he played for Mansfield Giants and Nottingham Nova under 14s, who went on to win the National U14 championship. Always had him down as a high IQ player. Did a lot of little things that let the likes of TJ Walker and Jeremy Hyatt take care of what they were good at.

Lions havnt adequately replaced Tabb, Bristol or Spencer imo. Based on just that one game, I’d agree – especially in regards to Tabb and Spencer. But hopefully it’s not a true reflection of things to come… Lions first scheduled home game, against Raiders, this weekend has been moved so they now have a couple of weeks to re-group before they play again.
