He's here. If you look in the mirror and say his name three times, he appears. I think they simply saved money last year, knowing that they couldn't go down. Lee English did say that they were looking to make some waves this year. Meanwhile, Derby have added a King.

Maybe Hoods plan during the plague season with no relegation could be the best plan of all. Campbell, Guddemi, Jiminez, Walker plus more looks a top 4 roster. Maybe the court rental monies from last year are paying for this

It's not their court. Wildcats & Hoods are completely separate clubs.

Kestrels add 6'6 PF Kemel Archer. The dual British-Canadian averaged 15.3ppg 12rpg and 3apg in the Spanish EBA last season.

With their behaviour in think a salary cap is needed.

the numbers are too small to work. sponsor or owner would just stick a couple of players on his company payroll. if he did have to turn up, would you try to rob a warehouse guarded by Orlan?

Kestrels retain talented guard Elias Poorman. His opportunities were restricted last year due to a wrist injury and he will have his work cut out getting significant minutes. Also, Worthing Thunder have retained American forward Howard Crawford and Nottingham have signed guard Moyo Adekeye. Meanwhile several D1 clubs including last seasons challengers Thames Valley have given away nothing of their recruitment...

So far Hemel have announced that Greg, Bode, Jack, Tayo and Levi are all returning. Sam Newman returns from Essex and Taylor Johnson and Johnathan Lashley join.

Big lad. He should be a handful in D2. They seem to have a nice set up and a shiny new court. Its about time Birmingham got back to basketball relevance...

First pre-season game for Kestrels is on Tuesday vs USA select side. 6pm tip at SSC and free entry. From what I hear, our new American guard is looking pretty impressive.

Game day. It's here! Solent Kestrels vs USA select, 6.30pm Solent Sports Complex. Also we face NBL D2 side Newham Academy this Saturday and BBL Surrey Scorchers the following week to round out pre-season. I'm hopeful we can have another good season. I think Hemel will be big challengers while Reading look stronger and Nottingham MUCH stronger.
