I would personally like to make my comment on this entire situation. I’ve always read the threads on whatsbev but never felt any need to comment on anything. Here I just felt I had to comment on Cheshire.

Everything that has ever gone on at Phoenix is just a joke, from the jets to Phoenix situation, the coach merry go round, and now. The organisation just seems to be poor and the board seems to be unconbasketball kitable. It’s come to the point where nobody professional actually wants to coach them, they had to resort to the chairman’s mates son.

BB ben isn’t the only person in recent years to stop going to Cheshire games, or changed allegiance. When being to Cheshire games, especially at the north gate there used to be many people I knew, but whenever I visit EPSV, I rarely see them there. This is the same with away games, even devoted fans who used to travel home and away, like Ole and Roadnix, had had enough.

My son plays for Phoenix junior team, which I believe is a great set up, however, the men’s organisation is despicable!

You see the problem here (despite a gallant effort so far) is we still don't have the whole story. There remain missing parts to this jigsaw puzzle.

There's vital witness testimony missing.

We've got Ben and we've got his friend's version of events - albeit we've had to dripfeed stuff out of them a bit. Each post they make they admit to a little bit more of the crime. They've folded a bit under pressure tbh. Not the choirboys we may first have given them credit for. Yet not the Kray twins either to be fair.  We've got the lady drummer's version and her friend to back her up admirably.

We've even had character references backing up the lady drummer from Saint Pat and Hersey. What can  we say? In the world of BBL you can't really ask for two more respected judges of character than those pair. Their word is undoubtedly beyond reproach. You can take what they say to the bank. (Providing they weren't pissed up at the time of course). 

But where are the three knxxheads and the fat lazy cxxt from Nix when you need them?

Conspicuous by their absence. Do these victims even exist?

We need statements from the actual victims of the alleged vitriol in this thread now if we are really to be judge and jury here?

Also what about Livebasketballtv ? Do we have video evidence we could examine ?  Maybe 2NFR can find photo evidence? Or Sonjel has emoji evidence relevant to the case?

Im sure there's more evidence going to emerge.This is just the tip of the iceberg.

In many ways this story has so many parallels with the life and struggles of Nelson Mandela and I'm reminded very strongly of the following well known quote from Nelson:

"When a man is denied the right to live the life he believes in, he has no choice but to become an outlaw."

No. I'll forgive you because this thread has soooo many sub-plots. If I believe anyone, it's Ben. I massively respect Mike Burton's contribution to Chester basketball, but it's his way or the highway. And he has a loyal group of henchmen who will swear black is white to support him. It's probably why the club still exists. 

To comment on a previous point. I found the accusation that Ole stole money from the club very sad. We're not friends any more, we won't be ever again. But the idea she'd nick money was ridiculous. And the people who claimed that need to take a long, hard look at themselves. But I did appreciate that the person who was a dictator on here who didn't believe in any kind of due process (though I'm still looking at you, Sam) fell foul of someone similar - but better at it - is brilliantly ironic. If you live by the sword.....

Wait, so this whole thing is because someone swore at a basketball game?
