Anyone else watching this draw? Nobody can peel the stickers of team names so have to get the presenter to do it. What’s wrong with the simple balls in a bag?
And if it couldn’t get any worse, she asks the “Royals player to step forward” except of course they haven’t sent anyone. The only team not represented (why am I not surprised) so everyone just stares at each other. Maybe if they honoured their contracts....

So the games have (almost!) been drawn in the same North/South split with Eagles/Riders/Rocks/Phoenix on one side and Lions/Royals/Scorchers/Sharks on the other. Eagles/Riders/Phoenix will already have played each other twice this season before Sunday, would have been nice to have some variation! Oh well.

I was dealing with (possibly pregnant) guinea pigs. And to be honest, while I'm going on Sunday, (possibly pregnant) guinea pigs are higher on my agenda. And possibly the agenda of SS.

I actually think that’s quite a good draw, should lead to some good games as the competition progresses. And it also means Lions won’t have to face Riders or Eagles until the semi-finals, which I like. Having said that, the way we’ve played so far this season I still wouldn’t rule out an early exit after just 2 games.

Maybe if they honoured their contracts.... Let’s be fair to Royals, it’s not like the draw was being done close to where they’re located. Oh wait…

If the draw wasn't so disorganised you could almost accuse it of being fixed.
Last season's 1st and 4th in one half of the draw, 2nd and 3rd in the other half.

Good to see confirmation the tournament will again be broadcast live internationally on DAZN in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Canada, the United States, Italy, Spain and Brazil. I can’t find official subscriber numbers, but it’s estimated it’s over 4 million worldwide. That kind of global exposure of the BBL can only be a good thing.

Is this on TV or being streamed anywhere online ? Full live coverage on Sky Sports Arena and Sky Sports Mix, this Sunday from 1pm to 6pm. Yes 5 hours of live British basketball on actual television, who'd have thought it!

Sky Sports (UK & Ireland) Kwese (Sub-Sahara & South Africa) Viasat (Scandinavia and Baltic States) DAZN Germany DAZN Canada DAZN Italy DAZN Japan Fox (Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Malta) Sportklub (Poland) Eleven Portugal Fox Australia Sky New Zealand

I've seen no mention of it being available on YouTube in the UK (or anywhere in the world for that matter).
Last year I think it may have been on Facebook Live, but not in countries where coverage was available on television or via DAZN.

You can get single-day passes for Sky Sports via www.nowtv.com if you just wanted to watch one day of games. Obviously costs a few quid, but that's probably the official way they'd want you to do it.

3rd year in a row rocks play eagles first..... The draw does feel a little ‘convenient’… but in a way that should lead to the best games in the later stages. The first game of the competition being the current champions (Scorchers) against debutants (Royals) also seems convenient. But as has been said, the draw was so unorganised it can’t have possibly been staged! And I’m not complaining, anything that results in an enjoyable event is ok with me.
