I guess sharks must be favourites. That helps us I think. Something to prove in this one.

Oh the plus side, looked like we were on the way to another comfortable win. Our players didn't deserve that game to be called off, what a waste

Who made the call Retsek? Was it really that bad? Honestly don't know, imagine it was the refs who made the final decision.

If the floor was the reason for the delayed tip, should it not have been more thoroughly checked before tip off to make sure it was as safe to play on as it should be?
(I appreciate this is easy for me to say, sitting at home watching YouTube in my jammies...)

Who made the call Retsek? Was it really that bad? It seemed to be the female ref who was doing most of the talking during the stoppage.
Nelson-Henry, Ward-Hibbert and Cartwright all went A over T at some stage. I saw Nelson-Henry indicate to the female ref that there was an issue with the floor and he also pointed it out to her where he fell.
I noticed players were slipping after about two minutes......

If the floor was the reason for the delayed tip, should it not have been more thoroughly checked before tip off to make sure it was as safe to play on as it should be? (I appreciate this is easy for me to say, sitting at home watching YouTube in my jammies...) We thought the same. Obviously it's hard to tell just how slippy the court is from the stands but about 10 mins before the tip the refs were running mini shuttles (I'm assuming to test how slippy it was) and one ref slid 5 or 6 feet, despite not going anywhere near full speed, almost at the same spot Ky went down. We were watching that end of the court and it didn't seem anyone went back to that spot to do any other sort of test on it. The game should never have started. Rob was fuming before the tip that they were going to let the game go ahead so nothing to do with how poor we were or how good sharks were. Although they got a couple of buckets courtesy of defenders being on the floor they did look impressive. Can see why they wanted to try it but should not have started and can't believe it didn't stop after Namon slipped and then when Ky had to go off after his slip they really should have stopped it there. Think there were 6 or 7 players that went down but those two were the most dangerous looking ones. Thank God they had the common sense to stop it before someone got seriously injured.
