The problem is with this forum there are NO rules

A good forum has rules that stop personal abuse and fair and firm action from moderators when needed according to those rules

I would personally abide by any rules and would love to see some and also see moderators supported to enforce those rules by fellow posters

On here when ex moderators have tried to get rid of personal abuse they themselves have not been backed up and get the personal abuse themselves and so they no longer even try to moderate

If there is no moderation to stop the personal abuse it just gets worse as people under attack just end up retaliating etc

Happy to be proven wrong

But my question remains unanswered

What are the forum rules re personal abuse?

I dont believe we have any?

Hence why the nasty comments develop and overtake threads

If someone is going to attack me and nothing done about it then at some stage I'm going to attack back and vice versa

Theres only so long you can try and rise above it

I don't enjoy the personal stuff but it is what it is on here

Could easily be stopped with clear rules and firm but fair moderation

But don't hold your breath waiting for that

I look forward to your response of 4 consecutive posts (or should I say essays) of no real substance, with the sole purpose of trying to crush me under sheer volume of words until I’m too tired to bother reading anymore.

And FYI, people that know FAR more about basketball than you no longer post here because they have to deal with you trying to educate them on something you know nothing about. It has nothing to do with there being no rules here. Whatsbev died the day you joined.

there is a tab on the forum called Terms - the disruption one is very clear and this post definently falls into that category as do many others especially in this thread.

So call them rules or terms - what next for a few posters - can you take your off topic posts to a new thread so the rest of us when we want a laugh can go and check the latest bickering and at same time can confidently look in the other threads for new posts that are about the thread title?

You are a the very worst kind of poster. Someone who only ever emerges on here every so often to personally attack people. And with any level of moderation at all would not have posted more than once on here should have been banned first time you posted.

You sum up exactly why moderation is needed

12 posts every single one personal abuse to someone

But obviously allowed to continue posting on here because nobody can be arsed to stop you

They are proboard terms.Proboard anticipate moderation on here and someone you can take grievances to

I've pmd numerous times multiple moderators to ask for action to be taken to stop personal abuse of other posters on here as well as myself

Once I got threatened to be banned myself for breaking forum rules

Asked to be sent a copy of the rule I had broken (to all the moderators at the time)

Not one moderator could send me any rules

I don't believe we have any moderators left on here?

If we do I guarantee they have no rules to follow

Simple as that

Its just a free for all on here

All that will happen from this post is I will either get banned for rocking the boat or the post will get deleted for rocking the boat or both

Any of you guys who genuinely want a forum without personal abuse should support having rules to abide by and fair but firm moderation

Or nothing will change

I'm happy to follow any rules and be moderated. But it requires others to follow the rules and be moderated as well

There are no rules and there's nobody to take grievances to as suggested by probiard terms all the moderators have packed in

Hence the constant personal attacks on here
